Welcome to Coral Sun Counselling. I’m Louise, a fully qualified counsellor offering online counselling to support you through life’s many challenges. Whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, grief, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly and begin to find balance again.
I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, but counselling can give you the time and space you need to reflect, process emotions, and move forward at your own pace. Taking that first step might feel daunting, but many people find that talking with a counsellor brings relief, clarity, and the tools to cope with whatever life brings.

Counselling can be helpful for anyone experiencing emotional or mental challenges. Some of the areas I support people with include:
No matter your circumstances, you don’t have to face things alone. Online counselling offers the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings from the comfort of your own home. For many people, being able to access support without travelling makes therapy more accessible and less intimidating. It also allows you to fit sessions around your lifestyle, work, or family commitments.
Counselling is not only about managing immediate difficulties, but also about long-term growth. Together, we can work on building resilience, developing healthier coping strategies, and improving your overall sense of well-being. Many clients find that therapy helps them gain new perspectives, improve relationships, and reconnect with what is most important to them.
Alongside my general counselling services, I also bring specialist insight for front line workers. Before retraining as a counsellor, I spent over 21 years as a HCPC-registered paramedic. I know first-hand how roles in healthcare, emergency services, and other front line positions can affect mental health.
If you’re a paramedic, nurse, firefighter, police officer, or emergency services staff, you may face unique pressures such as long shifts, exposure to trauma, and the weight of responsibility. These experiences can take a toll on your emotional health and sometimes leave you feeling isolated or misunderstood. With my lived experience, I provide counselling that understands and supports these challenges.
Many frontline professionals feel pressure to “stay strong” for others, but this can make it harder to acknowledge their own struggles. Counselling offers a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can share your experiences openly and work through the impact they have had on you.

Every client is different, which is why I take an integrated approach to therapy. I draw on a range of counselling models to suit your individual needs:
By combining these approaches, we can create a therapeutic process that feels flexible and personal to you. Some sessions may focus on managing immediate difficulties, while others might explore deeper patterns, helping you make lasting changes that support both your mental and emotional health.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, so I offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute telephone assessment. This gives us the chance to talk through what you’re looking for, answer your questions, and decide whether online counselling is the right path for you.
Sessions are held online, which means you can access support from the comfort of your own space, wherever you are. All sessions are confidential and designed to provide a safe environment where you can talk honestly without fear of judgement.
Whether you want support for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply managing the stresses of daily life, I’m here to help. Counselling can be a powerful step towards feeling more balanced, confident, and in control.
